Thanks for beta testing!

After fighting with the Wordpress.org plugin directory for years, I finally decided to do something about my frustrations. I was sick and tired of poor search results, and I found it impossible to sort those results in any meaningful way. I'm glad that Wordpress.org is working to address some of those issues (particularly with highly outdated plugins showing near the top of search results), and maybe in the not-so-distant future I can just point this domain back at the Wordpress.org directory. But until then, I hope ExtendBetter can help folks like me find quality Wordpress plugins without too much frustration.

So take a look around. The site isn't finished, but it's getting there. I still need to finish some sorting/filtering options (particularly compatibility filtering), the index isn't complete (it's only about 6000 of the most popular plugins) and there's a lot of UI bugginess and browser testing still to be sorted out. If you have any feedback, I'd really love to hear it. Please comment on my blog.
